Connector Tagged Value Visibility?

Apart from using scripting, is there any way to have Connector Tagged Value details displayed on a diagram (say, instead of the Name or in a Note attached to the connector)?

Attach a note to the connector, then right-click the note and "Advanced > Link to Connector Tagged Values".

Thanks - it was that easy!  Couldn't find it by searching in the help and right-clicking on the note link had no effect  

I assume there is a reason why notes attached to elements work differently from notes attached to connectors (something to do with being able to attach a note to multiple connectors maybe).
