Naming Standards for Physical Data Model
« on: February 06, 2012, 09:35:59 am »
I am not finding an option for naming standard file where I can define the Names of attributes/columns consistently. For E.g.I want to call Customer as “Cstmr” in all columns like Customer Id, Customer Name etc when the DDL is generated as Cstmr_Id , Cstmr_Name.
Is there any other way I can see whether I have used a consistent naming standard across the board while designing a Physical data model

I have worked with Erwin and there is a simple option of .nsm file where we can define all the values in a single file and when the logical data model is converted to physical data model, the tool does change .
