EA Model has password set but we dont know it

A collegue has created a ex model with password set and has left the company  >:(

how do we get into the ea model ?

If you only get a dialog with a single "enter password" then EA probably can't find the model, or there's a network error, or something like that.
If it displays a "user/password" dialog you can check the t_secuser table.
The password hash is a hash of only the password, so if you create a user/password in another model you can replace the password hash of the original record with the hash of your own password.

Ok I have an answer -

Look at the registered site for security and it says that
once you enable security you have to login as admin with a passord.

If you are lucky the password for admin will not have changed.
