Tools Disappear

I configure EA to use custom tools via the Tools | Customise menu.

It works as expected until I close and re-open EA. Then the tools have disappeared.

I experience a similar problem when loading a UML profile, it is also not  loaded after a re-open...

Any ideas?

Just a guess here, but perhaps you don't have permission to write to the Windows registry, at least not from the account you experience the problem from. Both of these symptoms seem to involve information that EA would store in the registry.

Are you using the same Windows account from which EA was installed? Do you have the same privileges set? What happens if you use Run as Administrator to start EA?
