DDL Generator
« on: September 11, 2012, 11:17:59 am »
Hey guys and girls,

Have been trying EA and using  “DBMode” extension and found is pretty good except for a few things that I'm looking to do:

1.      The DDL generator is very Oracle centric even though I have chosen “SQL Server 2008”
a.      Foreign Key constraints with incorrect syntax
b.      Stored Procedures missing defined statements, ie
2.      When Comparing Data Model to Database are unable to produce the DDL statements to update the Database
a.      Can see suggested actions but nothing else.

Cheers
Nick

Did you follow any of the advice you were given the last time you posted this exact same question?

Sorry, a few of us use the same login for this forum - is there nothing else one can do but submit as a bug?

There are some very knowledgeable and helpful people on this forum, but if you ask a question on a part of EA that they aren't familiar with they won't be able to help you. It looks like this is one of those questions. So send your question to Sparx Support and they will be able to pass it on to the person best able to answer you.
