Is there a way to create a new system template (as opposed to a new model template)?

Hi

It seems it is not possible to create a system template. From the User's Manual (version March 06, 2012), page 2235, section 18.1.2.1, the System Templates are predefined.

You are able, however, to create another (model) template derived from any of them.

Thanks, I was afraid of that... I suppose we will just have to ensure the manual steps of adding copies of our templates as each project is created are executed......

Well, you can always export them all (through Export Reference Data) and import back in the new project.
