Relationship Matrices in RTF Reports
« on: November 27, 2012, 12:14:58 pm »
Is it actually possible to include relationship matrices in RTF reports?

The help describes how to do it, but the available fields seem very limited. I don't see any fields that provide data about the entities themselves, only the package names, package types and link types.

I realise that Relationship Matrices can be exported directly as CSV, however I'd like to be able to embed the matrix directly in the RTF Report (to avoid exporting the matrix then pasting it into a report manually).

Thanks,
Josh

Perhaps have a look at eaDocX. There's full support for EA Matrix Reports, plus selecting by stereotype as well as type, and adding of Conditional Formatting.

Thanks Ian, I'll look into it. Reporting via stereotype would be a handy addition, as the built in matrix is limited in that regard.
