Hi, I'm still not clear.

I have just installed EA.

How do I get to package Code Engineering ?  Where do I find it ?

I am using   EA  V6.1

Here is what I did .....I   made a  new  EAP project ....then on Data Model ...right click > Code Engineering > Generate DDL schema from ODBC....I have been able to import DB Schema from MYSQL database  by this approach.

How do I generate Data Model diagram now ? I want  all tables in  a diagram with relationships. How do I get it ?

Ah, there's your problem ;D

Why would you want to generate a diagram? Just create a diagram and drag the tables you want to show onto it.

yup. I like it....can I drag all tables at one go ...something like "select all" and "drag all"  ...how do I do this ?

Also does the tables preserves the foreign key table relationships in diagram ?  If  not how do I show relationships in the diagram ?

Thanks .

To be honest I'm not sure that version 6.1 had the capability of multi-select in the project browser. It did have a command 'Insert Related Elements' that will help though.
