Printing Use Cases (rather than the diagram)
« on: February 10, 2013, 01:29:43 am »
Hello everyone,

This is my first time using EA, and first time here is the forum. So first, I appreciate Sparxsystems for providing such helpful forum.

I'd like to know if there is any way to print use cases. I mean the scenarios and so, not the Use Case Model Diagram. I couldn't find a way but this is a necessity, otherwise I'll have to write them in some word processing software and paste them inside EA (not a good idea!)

Thanks

You should consult the help about the RTF generator. There's also a more powerful product called eaDocX (just google for it) available.

That is not difficult to do, Create a new template and copy it from the "Use Case template" or the "Use case Scenatio template", which ever you decide.

Now select the template you created and un-tag the Diagram from the left section. you will see that the following section is gone, save you template and you are done.

diagram>
{Diagram.Name}
{Diagram.DiagramImg}
<diagram
