Export/import of RTF document templates

I've created a document template to generate an .RTF file containing the diagrams and other required information, so that I can import it into Word.  

I want to use this template in other projects but when I try to export them, the template is not in the list.

How do I export the template from one project and import it into another?

Hi,

you can export the templates with "Project->Model Import/Export" Export Reference Data

Select "RTF Document Templates"
In Version 10: Select the desired templates

Export it to any file.

I think on this way you found the import functionality :-)

Unfortunately, I don't seem to have the "Export Reference Data" option.  I only have:
- Import Package from XMI
- Export Package to XMI
- Batch XMI Export
- Batch XMI Import
- CSV Import/Export
- CSV Import/Export Specifications

I've looked in all these but could not find anything to export the template.

Which version and edition of EA do you have (e.g. 9.3 Professional edition) and if version 10 do you have full menus displayed?  

As Sethor says the option is definitely there at this location  "Project->Model Import/Export" >Export Reference Data in version 10 with full menus displayed.

The issue with incomplete menu exists since 9.?, definitely in 9.3: View/Workspaces
