Pasting screenprints problem for XMI export/import

After I've done an XMI export/import from one EAP to another it turns out that some screenprints have been altered or replaced by others. In this case the screenprints are pasted into boundary objects, and the overlayed on top of a screen object,

Is it known that EA has problems coping with screenprints, which are copied and pasted onto an object?

I know from own experience that, in other applications, embedded screenprints can become quite large objects.

There is an XML option to export images which must be turned on.
