Database error : DAO.Database[3703]

Hi all,

I have connected my EA project to the database. WHen I am trying to change any settings in EA , I am getting an error message stating:

DAO.Database[3703]
operation not supported on replicable databases that have not been converted to the current version.

What exactly is the problem?

It means you have a JET 3.5 database with replication turned on, and have EA set to use JET 4.

Two solutions, change back to JET 3.5 or upgrade the repository (which I don't think EA can do by itself).

Thanx a lot for the help. But can you tell exactly how to change the JET version to 3.5?

It's in Tools/Options/General (somewhere top right).

Do you really feel its easier to post a question like that on the forum i.s.o. opening the manual on the index "JET"? ::)
