Including / Excluding diagrams from documents
« on: July 03, 2013, 07:03:06 pm »
I currently have use cases in packages and beneath each use case have a number of diagrams, e.g. activity, VOPC, state, actors, wireframes, etc...

If I want to produce different documents for different audiences, e.g. a user document showing only the activity diagram, or a technical document with VOPC, state, etc... How can I turn on / off diagrams for different document templates.

I know you can exclude diagrams from all documents by accessing the diagram properties, but this would require changing these settings everytime I produce a document, could this be scripted somehow?

Alternatively I'm looking at document template filters, but not having much luck so far.

Has anyone any experience of doing this or can offer any tips?

Tks

The Diagram StyleEx column has the info. Set ExcludeRTF to 1 (see chapter 9.10 of my Inside book).
