Creating Custom images - Need help on Process
« on: August 15, 2013, 07:11:57 am »
I have imported the ImageLibrary from Sparx Systems resources and actively using some of the images.

I need a standalone image to represent WebSphere MQ queues. I tried creating them in Paint or Visio and import them as PNG images into EA. However, the images have a white background even though original images have transparent background.

I guess my question, what is the best way to create and import images with transparent backgrounds.

Thank you
Sreenivas

I would like to second that! The provided default image library is utterly lacking! Are there more images available from anywhere?

If not: what is the process to convert some standard format (preferably some vector format like .png or .emf) into icons usable by EA?

Has anyone figured this out? Is there other image libraries out there?

I believe Sparx released a new image library on their website somewhere.
I have no idea where exactly, but hopefully the search function will help you.

There was an updated image library released in July, 2015. See the following links:
