How to model subprocess
« on: October 06, 2013, 07:07:19 am »
Hi,

how to model BPMN subprocess ? An activity can be defined as Sub-Process, but how to attach a modeled process ?

Thanks,

Michel

Right-click the Activity
Select New Diagram
Choose Composite Structure Diagram to create a new sup-process BPMN 2.0 diagram (or Choose Select Composite Diagram to link an existing BPMN diagram

All above assume EA version 10

Models are great!
Correct models are even greater!

Great ! Thanks philchudley - this answers my question too as I had started out with an Activity, but then realised it needed to become a sub-process, but didn't know how to link the sub-process diagram to that Activity element so that it automatically appeared when I double-clicked it.
