Creating Future State from Current State Diagrams

How can I create a future state diagram from a existing diagram.

The scenaio i have is that i have a current system/application drawn using Archimate and it has a lot of connections to other systems. In the future state there will be far less systems and i want to show from my current state diagram.

So basically i want to show that these systems in the current state diagram be removed or replaced by other system or systems in the future state without having to create another future state diagram altogether.

Anybody have a idea how to do this???

There are quite a number of threads about modeling futures states of EA models. Have you tried the search button top left?

There are a couple of options;
 - Simplest is to use the Diagram Filter and say set your Element.Version (or phase) to your different versions - then you can filter on either Version or use no filter. See:

 - Another option is to use the Gap Analysis Matrix for showing the differences between the as-is and to-be states - see:
