Image library for Infrastruct architecture diagram
« on: December 12, 2013, 08:20:24 pm »
Hi,

I need to define the project infrastructure onto a diagram to show the servers, clients, networks, etc.
Software architects currently use Visio diagrams since they have a large selection of cool images to illustrate servers, PCs, switches, and so on.

I can't find any suitable image library in EA than can provide a similar rendering within a component or deployment diagram. Is such resource available somewhere via an additional image library or MDG?

I'm looking for something similar to diagrams shown on http://www.uml-diagrams.org/network-architecture-diagrams.html

Thanks
Guillaume

Have you looked at the provided image library?

http://www.sparxsystems.com/resources/image_library.html

There is a link to the library in the embedded help, it's under:
Image Library, Import

Hi Andy,

It looks a bit old fashioned hence the need to find something more like the Visio items. I guess I can create a library with Visio elements so they can be applied in EA.
