Paste component
« on: December 18, 2013, 07:41:19 am »
I have a component diagram  with 3 components en package A. They are associated with each other.

I have an another componente diagram in package B and I dragged two component from the package A to the new diagram as instance with copy connector option checked. The components paste with their relationships. Thn I want to drag the third component to the packaged B as instance cith the copy connectors option checked too. But when the third component is pasted the connector to the component1 and component 2 are missing.

How can I copy components as instances and copy and update their conector with the current component in the diagram target?

The details in your description are a bit unclear. However, if you paste as instance then these instances are independent from their source (except they are classified with it). If you make changes to either to opposite is not touched. Maybe you can precise the pre-conditions (what is connected already) and the post-condition (which you described) and what you'd expect exactly.
