Status colours for classes
« on: January 23, 2014, 10:40:51 pm »
Hi
Is it possible to display status colours on a diagram for classes?
I have tried Settings->General Types->Applies To, but to no avail

Anyone know if this is possible?

Thanks

Maggie

Yes it's possible.  I just tried it.

For classes the colour appears as part of the shadow so while it's there it's not as obvious as it could be.  You need to make sure that the status colours apply to classes - which you say you've done - AND
1) that in Tools/Options/Objects the option to "Show status colors on diagrams" is ticked, plus
2) that "Element shadows on" is ticked under Tools/Options/Diagram/Appearance

Unfortunately the shadow is only faintly visible. If you'd like to see something more obvious you might think of a profile where you can add some color (e.g. with a decoration) splash.

With shape script you can color conditionally.
