Modify multiple connectors/associations at once

This may be a stupid question, but is there a way to modify all or a selection of connectors being displayed in a particular diagram at the same time?  I'd like to be able to change the style of a group of connectors from "auto-routing" to "direct" without individually modifying each one.  I'd really like to be able to do this without actually changing the position of the blocks/classes that are placed in the diagram.  

Ideally, this would happen by highlighting all of the blocks in an area of the diagram and then being able to select "line style" from there.  This would modify all connectors between the blocks.

I'm aware of the options in the "layout diagram" dropdown, but the only one which does anything like this is the "auto route" function, which is what I'm trying to move away from.  I have no idea why the other line styles are not also selectable from that menu.
