Issue with changing licensed edition
« on: April 11, 2014, 02:43:28 pm »
Hi,

My organization had earlier taken an ultimate edition with v7.5 and then with v10 changed to Corporate. We have a floating license installed in one of the servers here. For some reason, I am only getting the option to select ultimate edition. I cannot see the corporate edition option at all. Problem is some features such as document generation are not working and for that I need to change the edition from ultimate to corporate.

I have tried uninstalling and installing EA but it seems this edition information is stored somewhere else because after installation I again get the same option.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

Aaron B

Document generation should be available in both the Corporate and Ultimate editions.  Any feature found in EA Corporate will also be available in EA Ultimate.  It's possible you have just selected a Command Set which hides these menu items.

Open: View | Workspaces and Commands > Commands.  To show all available menu options, select the "Complete" command set.

For help regarding this feature, see:

Regarding the actual selection of Ultimate vs Corporate license, please check your floating license key store to confirm what type(s) of licenses it contains, and whether there are any Corporate licenses currently available or if they are all in use.
