Override BPMN2 validation rules?
« on: June 30, 2014, 05:42:17 pm »
Hi,
I've got a number of BPMN2 diagrams and models ; it's been decided that activities should be stored in a separate package from diagrams, lanes, gateways, etc.
As a result when I attempt to create a sequence flow from an activity to a gateway (that aren't in the same lane since activities are moved away from a lane, into a dedicated package), EA throws that error message.
Is it possible via the use of add'ins to let users EA create this type of association?

Thanks
Guillaume

You can turn off strict validation of connector rules. (Links page of options dialog) does that help you?
