Linking between screen mocks and db table elements
« on: July 22, 2014, 12:29:40 am »
I use EA for web modeling and associated database modeling.  I would like to be able to link web elements to db elements so that a programmer can jump from a page element in the web model to the associated table element(s) for field (property) details then back to the page.  All ideas appreciated.  Thanks.

There is an article on the community site which deals with attribute mapping. That might help you a bit.

Also, you might want to look at the white paper "Data Modelling Concept to DBMS"  that can be found  at :

http://community.sparxsystems.com/white-papers/download/150_6225169fd02a5536c9146d158f41da4d

and specifically Figure 12 on page 12 which shows a screenshot of a screen mockup related back to db table fields.
