Validating BPMN process diagrams

Is there a way to validate BPMN process diagrams in EA similar to the way you can in Visio 2013 where it checks your diagram to ensure it complies with the BPMN specification?

Just starting out with both EA ver 9 and BPMN to model business processes.

Well, you do not validate diagrams but the model. EA has a feature Project/Model Validation where you can do that. I don't know if the BPMN package comes with additional rules. So maybe someone else can answer that.
