Non-displayable tags; where do I go wrong?
« on: September 26, 2014, 10:44:39 pm »
Hi Sparxers,

I have loaded the Strategic Modeling package and added an instance of the Decision Tree diagram; added some Test and Outcome Activity elements to it and decorated those with a couple of tagged values. Now, even with the Show Compartments::Tags for elements on a diagram and Tags checked in the Feature visibility dialog for each element, I still cannot see the tagged values displayed. This drives me nuts ..what am I missing?

Maybe that when you create an instance the TVs are not copied from the class? Does the TV pane show tags?

All the tags and their values are visible in the Tagged Values pane, that makes it even more arcane for me ...

Another thought is that the model elements have a shape script which supersedes the normal rendering. Maybe you remove the stereotype from a single instance to verify that.

To clarify: what you suggest is dropping the stereotype for one instance and checking if the Tags compartment shows up?

Ok; no change for me and I will not pursue this at the moment as I have switched to a more appropriate diagram for my purposes, however thank you for pointing me in this direction.:-)
