Printing diagrams on large format paper (A0 or A1)
« on: September 27, 2014, 04:58:19 am »
Seems like EA is limited to printing diagrams on relatively small pages as set through the Tools/Options/Settings/Diagram/PageSetup or from the Diagram/Properties/Diagram/PageSetup controls.

Question: Does EA support printing to large format paper sizes (ISO-A0/ANSI-E/864mmx1118mm  or ISO-A1/ANSI-D/559mmx864mm)? I haven't actually tried to print yet but I'm concerned by the limited page sizes offered in the page setup controls. Anybody done this before?

There has been a similar discussion and I don't remember the outcome. I recommended to install a printer which supports A0 since that seems to be a prerequisite. A PDF printer did not easily work (for me).

My method was:

1. Install the appropriate driver for a Plan Printer
2. Print to .pdf

I found that I had better control over the output if I printed to .pdf
