basic security
« on: October 22, 2014, 02:37:14 am »
Hi,
Visible package
Is it possible to mask a package or diagram for a group. Or the only possible right is to set not publishable package but always visible.
lock
Is it possible to lock Diagram and use the group lock type for more than only  one.

Do you know a good tuto about security concept on EA ?
thanks

Masking is not possible.

Regarding the lock it depends whether you use Require User Lock to Edit or not.

IIRC and admin can unlock anything but I don't remember if there is a selective unlock.

Only one group can have a lock. I would recommend defining an additional security group that has the membership encompassing your the membership of all sub-groups.

each User get
one group for permission

Each user needs to be assigned to at least one group. You can assign more than one group to a user. Each group defines a set of security features. Features will be set-added from the different groups per user.
