Built-in Collab or third-party-version control
« on: November 05, 2014, 02:41:55 am »
Hello everyone,

The Version-Control-whitepaper [1] focuses on third-party version control systems but Appendix B describes the built-in collaboration and change management tools.

I am interested in a comparison (advantages, disadvantages) and lessons learned for both approaches.

Which approach is more applicable for a central repository scenario (DBMS) with multiple projects and scaleable enough for more than 100 working users?

Thanks a lot and best regards,
 Thomas
