Problem with RTF Bookmarks in EA11

I've always used RTF Bookmarks to get diagrams into Word, ie:

Generate a diagrams only RTF report

Copy the bookmark for the diagram

In Word, Insert/Text From file, Past the bookmark etc etc.

It has stopped working since I upgraded to EA11. [Edited to add: it no longer inserts the image - nothing seems to get inserted, but there is no error - my guess is that the bookmark is possibly not being associated with the drawing correctly in the RTF, but that is just a guess]

I can still do it with reports generated under EA9 or EA10, so the "Copy Bookmark" bit must still be working. But I can't do it with any RTF generated under EA11.

Am I doing something wrong, or is something changed or broken?

Any ideas?

I have the exact same problem. The bookmarks are still in the document. However, in older version the bookmark covered the whole section (e.g. a diagram), while now it is just placed at the beginning of the section. Imagine it like this (the brackets mark the beginning and end of the bookmark):
Old: [diagram]
New: []diagram
So Word will not insert anything, because the bookmarked text is basically empty. This is clearly a bug in version 11!

Thanks for confirming that, and investigating it further. I'm now using WordEA editor from http://www.oopuml.com/word-ea-editor/. Dramatically simplifies what I am doing, may work for you - I can thoroughly recommend it.

Update: Issue ID is 14088825 and has been confirmed as bug.

Any news regarding a possible fix? That one is annoying and spoils our reporting.

According to Sparx (information from October 3rd), the developers fixed it already, but it needs to be merged into the build. So I would assume that it will be in the next build.
