Tagging pools and lanes with roles
« on: November 13, 2014, 11:32:20 pm »
Hi Guru's,

Is there any way where in we can tag pool and lane with designated roles other than "Instance Classifier". if there is no other way then is there any method where in we can suppress the 2nd part being displayed for example:-

when pool "Problem Management System" is tagged with the role "Problem Manager" it displays as "Problem Management System:Problem Manager" and i do not want it to display like this instead i want the pool name to be displayed as just "Problem Management System"

Kind Regards
Vasanth

You set the participantRef and set the type to Entity or Role

If you're in version 11.1 then the preferred mechanism is to set partnerEntity or partnerRole.

Prior to 11.1, due to the restrictions in EA, I know that some people used participant elements as a substitute for PartnerEntity and PartnerRole elements. Technically, the Pool is the Participant, and should only be involved in a single collaboration.
