EA10 and EA11 on the same project

Hi,

Sorry if this question has been asked before (I cannot find a relevant thread though).
We're working on a shared EA project (stored on a DBMS + SVN) where most users have the latest build of EA 10. A user has upgraded to EA 11.

Is there any risk in updating the shared EA project with EA11 :
- when it will be accessed by others users with EA10?
- when it will be accessed and updated by others users with EA10?
- does it make any difference when the user works on controlled packages (SVN), or on uncontrolled packages ?

One issue to be aware of is that tagged values are handled slightly differently between the two. Specifically if you have a Template Package/Diagram that has elements on it - in v10 you need to remove tagged values that are present in the elements mdg (ie present by default) - if you don't do this when someone creates one of these elements the tagged values will be added twice. This is fixed/changed in v11. In v11 if you remove the tagged values from the element on the Template diagram - they are just not added when you create an element of the associated type !!

IIRC some of the Sparxian posters here confirmed that. But (also IIRC) there is no official statement regarding this. I guess Sparx prefers to have all customers on the latest build.
