How do I delete a project shortcut?
« on: December 04, 2014, 08:56:36 pm »
I know how to create a Project Shortcut such that a specified diagram is opened when a project is launched.
However, I can't work out how to delete a shortcut.
I can't find anything in Sparx Help for 'Project shortcuts', nor anything on this forum.

Any ideas??

You just delete the .eap file.

You just delete the .eap file.

...but only if it actually IS a shortcut. A shortcut .EAP file is usually less than 1KB; a .EAP model is usually more than 1MB. Please don't delete your model!

Note that there are other ways than shortcut files to open a diagram on opening a model. You can set a default diagram by Diagram > Advanced > Set as Model Default or Set as User Default. I may be wrong, but I think the only way to clear those settings is to set them to a dummy diagram and then delete the diagram.

And another way to define which diagrams to open on opening a model is to define a Working Set, currently to be found under View > Working Sets.
