Expand Block without perturbing lines

I'm updating a SysML 1.3 Block Definition Diagram.  I have a block that has many association lines and I need to lengthen the block.  When I resize the block, the association lines all move (their connection points on the block seem to stay proportional to the block's size).

Is there a way to resize the block without perturbing any of the existing association lines?

No (AFAIK). I once had written an add-in for me to support that kind of things.
