EAP 12 - Order of DB keys unsettable?
« on: March 09, 2015, 09:12:44 pm »
Hi everyone,

we've just recently upgraded from version 8 to version 12 and while everything looks much better, for some reason I am unable to specify the order of indexes and keys. Newly this is located in the table as Features and Properties -> Operations and my problem is that I would (just visually) want to see PK first, then FKs and indexes. Right now it seems that it's alphabetically sorted (including the PK / FK prefix).

Another issue is that unlike EAP 8. the MySql template is (out of the box) broken and we had to repair the associated script ourselves, which was not a big deal.

Thanks!

Jan

Please send in a bug report about the MySQL templates.

Version 12 added the template mechanism for DDL generation. It's possible some situation slipped through their testing.

I'm not sure about the sorting in the dialog. There may have been a reason for it, or it could have been an oversight. Again, the dialog was completely reworked in v12.
