Customizing a project
« on: March 20, 2015, 02:18:40 am »
I would like to customize a project and add 2 "entities" similar to Requirements (under rules): one for questions and another for design assumptions. Is there a way to do this? If so guidance to get started would be much appreciated.

Please note that they don't have to appear under Rules for each class. It is possible that at least some questions could cover more than one class.

You can simply add according stereotypes <<question>> and <<assumption>>. If you like you can define shape scripts to make them appear more obvious. Further you can create a MDG to connect individual tagged values with those elements.

I have decided to go down the stereotype route, however using the stereotypes is proving to be interesting as they do not seem to appear anywhere.

Both stereotypes have comment as the base class.

The stereotypes should appear. Did you define a shape script?

P.S. did not realize the sentence about "Comment". I never had the idea to use Comment as a base class ::)

Comment stereotypes are a bit of a special case because the standard properties dialog of a comment element doesn't include a stereotype field. Look in the Properties window (Alt+1) for a stereotype field that you can set while the comment element is selected.
