Reporting on elelemts in diagrams

Hi,
I'm trying to create a document with text and diagrams in the body and an appendix with a table with details of all elements referenced in the report. I can do it by having another diagram, unprinted, that contains every element referenced in the document in the appendix, but it means manually maintaining it when the body diagrams change.
Does anyone know if there's some way I could create a diagram with links to all the diagrams in the report and pull the elements that way.

You can, if you write a script, but it might be easier to create an SQL fragment for this table.
