Autonumbering by folders

Iam new to using the Enterprise Architect tool. Iam trying to use the auto numbering feature. I have used the Projects-> Settings-> Auto Names and Counters to auto number the elements. But is there a way to auto number folder wise. I  have multiple sub systems and each has its own number prefix.

No. You can mimc the auto-numbering with an add-in but it would be tricky to get that to work reliantly. You would need to introduce a tagged value per package to keep the numbering format.
