Floating license - EA disconnected
« on: August 25, 2015, 03:41:42 am »
The university where I work has some floating licenses of EA. However, as I am a teacher, I would be able to work with my laptop outside the university in preparing the lessons. How can I set that only my notebook can operate the EA disconnected?

Have you reviewed the Keystore user guide for details?

Yup. I analyzed the http://www.sparxsystems.com.au/bin/SSKeyStoreUG.pdf document (section 5.3). But I did not understand how to release only one specific machine. How do I identify my notebook from the provided licenses?

There is an option on the keystore itself for how long EA can hold the key, another for it to automatically release it when closing. There is no per-user/machine setting to allow that to be customized.
