using xls files to generate processes

Is anyone aware of a possibility to use xls files (in a specific layout) for conversion in a business process (BPMN) ? ARIS is said to have this feature ?

I'm afraid you'll have to write it yourself.
I've done some excel import/exports before and its really not that much work.
