I use the Image Manager so everything is stored in the EA project.
This feature needs to be used properly so it doesn't get messy e.g. always rename the images you've created so they can be easily re-used.

The most common way to add a screenshot is to copy your screenshot to the Clipboard, resize it via an image software if needed so it's not too large in your EA diagram, and use the "Paste Image from Clipboard" action on your diagram.
Alternatively, add an image to your diagram (use the Toolbar > Common), click ok, and select an existing image or Add New > From File or Clipboard.
