Could you add the State Transition edge to the State Machine palette please? It's a bit of pain to keep having to go up to links and use the drop down.

I have it on my toolbox, second from last. Try going to Tools / Options and selecting the UML Element Toolbox page. Click on State in the Folder List and make sure that Transition is ticked in the Button List.

Hope that does the trick, let me know if not...

Thanks for the advice: it hepled me to solve the problem (but not in the way suggested

It was actually there in the selected options for State. I was running in 1024x768: when I upped the resolution I could see the transition.
Would it be possible to have a scoll bar or minimize the other tabs?

How about unchecking some of the other folders that you don't use in that same options page?

Is that what you want?

Also, clicking on the little arrows at the side of the toolbars in the toolkit scrolls up and down through the elements.

I had to have that one pointed out to me too.
