Perforce support

Since CVS support has been added to EA 4.5, it would be great to add support for other version control systems like e.g. Perforce.

Without wishing to sound sniffy, supporting VSS and CVS natively covers a good fraction of the market; many other niche VC vendors might well have compatibility modes or plugins to support these two.

Native CVS support has only just arrived, and is very welcome - prior to this (as you might see from the old EA help files) CVS was supported by apps such as Igloo, which bridged the MS VC API used in EA, to CVS.

I haven't tried it but Perforce does come with an excellent SCC adaptor, allowing for integration in VisualStudio and so on.

Have you tried using it for EA?
