JBuilder integration
« on: February 21, 2005, 10:04:11 pm »
Hi,

I am using JBuilder 9 for development, and wish to start using EA, but i am not sure if EA provided integration/support for JBuilder.

Please let me know if its so.

Depends on what kind of support/integration your looking for.

If you want to model your application in EA and use that model in JBuilder, you can export the model as XMI and import it in Jbuider (supposing JBuilder supports XMI).

Hi Naresh,

I assume you are using JBuilder for Java development. Enterprise Architect has support for both forward- and reverse-engineering of Java code, you certainly can model your application in EA, then generate the Java code and simply open it in JBuilder. You can also reverse-engineer whatever Java code you have already built, EA can also keep your code and your model (relatively) in sync.

Hope this helps!
