Label Visibility for All Associations in Diagram

According to a support mail that I received, there is no way to select all associations that exist in a given UML diagram.  What I need is the ability to set label visibility for all associations in a given diagram.  Depending on the context, I may want to show different labels.  I would appreciate any insight into how this might be achieved, and/or a feature added that allows me to do this.

Boy do I ever sympathize with you. I ran into exactly the same kind of problem while creating a large, complex model some time ago. I needed to set every one of the associations up by hand, including when they were imported into other diagrams after the one they first appeared in.

AFAIK there is (still) no way to define default visibility for association labels, etc. You have to do it all by hand.

That was some time ago. The relationship matrix has evolved since then. Perhaps you can do what you want from there. It would still involve tweaking every one, but it would be far more efficient. If this moves you forward enough to be worthwhile, please let me know.

IMHO, this is worth submitting as a feature request.

This goes along with the long missed ability to change common properties for multiple selected elements. If EA was OO it should be easy I remember Rose could do this

Are you suggesting it isn't?  Shock, horror!  Sparxians, tell us this is NOT so and the behaviour is just by design...
