C++ Model Transformation
« on: August 31, 2006, 11:43:04 am »
Hi all!

I am using EA since several month now for a rather small project for Design and C++ Roundtrip Engeneering. I am very satisfied with the tool and the support and the price/performance ratio is just great. At the moment I try to convince the rest of my company about it.
Therefore I hope the community will help me to find the right arguments in the next time ;-)

My first question is about C++ Model Transformation and Templates:

There is a good roundtrip support for C++... What I don't understand is, why there is no C++ Model Transformation available. Is there any reason for this? Is it thought to be implemented in upcoming versions? Or can I can find ready-made templates somewhere?

What I did now was more or less a copy&paste from the C# templates. I don't hope that writing templates is necessary already, but (if yes  :P) where can I find good documentation and/or documented examples??

Thank you very much...
DD
