BUG: [Ctrl+C] triggers "dirty" flag
« on: October 11, 2006, 07:56:32 pm »
While assembling the information for another posting on the meaning of data modelling related stereotypes, I stumbled across the following anomaly.

In many EA controls, but  in this case specifically the Notes field of the Settings|UML|Stereotypes... dialog, if you select some text and press [Ctrl+c] to copy, the control is marked as "Dirty" and in this case, the Save button is now enabled and the Delete button disabled.  ???

However,if you select the text and use the context menu (Right Mouse) Copy item, the control is NOT marked as Dirty.

Please rectify...
Paolo

[Edit:  [Ctrl+A] to select the text also triggers the "Dirty" flag... ::)]

Inconsistently correct systems DON'T EXIST!
