It is not possible to add tagged values to a Diagram! I already have the Strict UML Syntax switched off.

This is unacceptable.

We are automating the generation and maintenance of certain diagram stereotypes. In order to drive the process, we need to supply metadata to the diagram renderer. We intended to do this via tagged values, but we can't.

Don't know if the UML 2.x specification treats diagrams as elements in the sense that they can be tagges, but regardless...

Diagrams, per se, don't actually exist in the UML 2.x metamodel. They appear merely as renderings of the model itself and are therefore outside it...

But as we agree... Regardless...

Just stumbled over the same problem. Please, yes, yes! I will implement a work-around with the diagram notes in the meantime
