import of emx files from RSM to EA-with-SysML
« on: January 10, 2007, 01:44:46 am »
Hi,

I just tried to import into EA (v6.5, build-802) an emx file containing some SysML models drawn with SysML-plugin of RSM (from EmbeddedPlus). I am seeing the blocks, packages and BDDs (Block Definition Diagrams) in the imported packages; but the connectors and IBDs (Internal Block Diagrams) within different packages are missing.

Thanks for any clue how to import the stuff correctly.

Yes, this might be a valuable tweak.

However, before we go too far, are you using the Sparx SysML add-in?
No, you can't have it!

I suggest you report this as a bug. This is a user forum. There's nothing wrong with mentioning the problem here - in fact it is strongly encouraged so we can all know about and discuss the issue.

Sparx monitors this forum and will pick up on the problem. However, a bug report goes right into the queue.

You can use the Support link at the top of the page, or if you need to refer to something in your model, you can reach the correct page via the EA main menu by using Help | On-line Resources | Bug Report Page.

You should include a URL to this thread. Sparx is pretty good about reviewing whatever information etc. comes to light here.

Also, if Sparx provides some feedback you think is relevant, please let us know in this thread.
