more support of firebird !

The firebird really nice database and it grow fast ...

then seems EA can more support it in now

1. as DBMS of project
2. sperate it from IB and more focus in it ...

It has been suggested before - by myself among others - but no visible interest from Sparx as yet.

Please consider searching the forum and adding your support to the appropriate thread. This would indicate additional interest. You should also remove this thread. See below for why.

By posting a new thread, without first searching, you run the risk of the most recent mention of the problem (your new thread) looking like only one person is interested. Since this is a user forum we cannot expect Sparx to wade through all past posts when such a suggestion comes up. The end result is that the suggestion always seems to have little interest.

btw, is sparx working on the new EA version, not minor build? if so, what new & old features we can hope?

My vote for Firebird support.

I've had only limited association with it, but was very impressed with it.

It's ability to actually handle the Relational Model is excellent.  (and it's small and fast!)
