Make these forums available through RSS

I love SPARX, but the update process is very painful.  We have to come looking for new releases.  If you made these forums, or at least the What's New forum available through a feed, it would make life easier.

If that is too much work, how about just an email subscription list that you could notify us through?

I guess this is probably a question of when Sparx moves to a current version of YABB - this one is quite dated - or another forum application altogether.

I'm told that the last time Sparx upgraded YABB - before my time - things did not go well. Apparently messages were lost, etc. Since then the forum has become much bigger, so this could become a real issue. Of course, that is also part of the problem.

Until then they (Sparx) have to live within the limits of this version of YABB. Given how old it is, I doubt this will allow a feed.

Time will tell...

Of course, you could always make a feature request (see the bottom of any forum page) to Sparx, suggesting they publish update notices by some means other than the forum, to those customers who indicate interest.

Which is what I was referring to here. Any means (email, RSS, whatever) would do.
